Fertiliser

So this is the more technical part – but it’s still very simple. For every Citrina beauty is more than just skin deep. Like any plant, or any of us for that matter, it will need the correct nutrition to thrive, look its best and produce delicious fruit.

This means that from May to September you will need to add some fertilizer to the water whenever you feed your Citrina. For the rest of the year, add the fertilizer in the same manner once a month.

Because your Citrina needs special micronutrients, be sure to use a liquid fertilizer specifically labelled for citrus. Make sure you use the correct ratio of fertilizer to water - then you can feed as normal. If in doubt read our section on watering your Citrina.
