SOIL FRESHENER potting soil is a mixture of coconut fiber, organic fertilizer, and vermiculite. It is perfect as an additional fresh potting soil needed when transplanting house plants into larger pots. It is also good to renovate the top layer of aged potting soils in large plant pots, which are difficult to transplant.
How to apply?
Application during repotting:
Remove the plant to be repotted from the pot and loosen the roots by gently rubbing the root ball with your hand.
Place a layer of SOIL FRESHENER potting soil on the bottom of the new pot. The thickness of this layer is variable and depends on the dimensions of the plant and the plant pot. It should be enough to raise the base of the repotted plant to a height close to the edge of the plant pot (0.5 to 3 cm below).
Once the plant has been placed in the center of the pot, the space between the pot wall and the root ball around the plant should be carefully filled in, ensuring no empty spaces are left.
Replacement of aged potting soil:
Carefully remove the top layer of aged potting soil, 2-3 cm, and fill with SOIL FRESHENER potting soil.
2000 ml pack of SOIL FRESHENER potting soil, when applied as recommended, will be enough to use on approximately five medium plants (pots with diameters from 12 to 14 cm) or in one large plant (pot with diameters from 19-21 cm).
Keep the SOIL FRESHENER potting soil in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
